goggle maps do post code to post code amazing as when i was a lad we'd leave the house and head to the station or bus stop and work it out on route

Re: Getting to the new stadium .
There's this thing called google right, and if you write questions into it it often gives you information that you might find helpful.

For example, I just put "How do I get to the Olympic stadium" into it, and it directed me to this:

http://queenelizabetholympicpark.co.uk/the-park/plan-your-visit/getting-here

And one of the good things about google is that it generally doesn't insult you in the process. Unless you ask it to find you site that will randomly insult you.

To be fair Vaz, your original post was rather vague

Re: Getting to the new stadium .
If you wanted specific tips about specific things then put that in the OP.

If you want people to think you've either never been to West Ham before or are fucking stupid (Stratford is on the same line you'd use to get to West Ham from Waterloo) then post what you posted in the OP.

I don't find your original post offensive, i do however find people calling other people spastics offensive, although strangely those comments make you giggle, which quite frankly says a lot more about your level of inteligence than your original post does.

Re: Getting to the new stadium .
Just thought I might get some advice re parking or what to avoid etc . Sorry it wasn't more advanced . Can't believe you find my OP so offensive . " grown men ? " calling people spastic still makes me giggle though . Says it all about them really !
I'll leave it at that .

Re: Getting to the new stadium .
To be fair, i'm not quite sure what advice the OP was looking for that he couldnt easily work out for himself. Working out the best way to get to Stratford from where you live shouldnt be that difficult, it's not as if we've moved to a completely new area miles away from UP

I'm not arguing about anything, just calling him a spastic for not being able to work out how to get to Stratford tube station

I'd give it up on here TeVaz.

As you've identified, there are some proper arseholes on here who will argue about literally anything until the end of time for the sake of it if you bite.

Just see the OS thread for evidence of that.

Fuck public transport. I will park at my mums and walk 15 minutes along the sewer bank.

Re: Getting to the new stadium .
I don't get the bit about him saying he drives. Are spastics allowed to drive?

RichyP 10:06 Sat Jul 30
Re: Getting to the new stadium .
Why would public transport not be an option? For all it's faults it is the most connected stadium in the country. Just go on tfl journey planner and it will tell you the quickest route, then go on google maps and it will tell you the quickest route to the stadium from the station. Alternatively come out of the station open your eyes and look for the big fuck off 60k stadium and walk towards it.

You have the internet cos you post on here so surely you can work that out for yourself? I mean how do you normally get to places that you've never been to begore?

Re: Getting to the new stadium .
Thanks Hermit . That's all I was asking for !
Johnson .... Didn't realise I needed to add my life story to the OP. Was the OP too simple ?

Johnson 9:32 Sat Jul 30
Re: Getting to the new stadium .
Not what your OP says though is it? Doesn't mention driving or anything about the tube being down.

Is the tube down?

Re: Getting to the new stadium .
Waterloo, then jubilee all the way round to Stratford. Lovely journey tarnished only by the trip throug Bermondsey. Just hold your nose though.

I've got an idea for parking, but it's not going on here.

Re: Getting to the new stadium .
I used to get the tube Johnson , is that important . you lot do realise that not everyone is a season ticket holder or goes to every game for whatever reason ?
Yes , l drive , and know how to read a map and know how to use the underground . Just looking for the best way to get to a place I've not been to on a day when public transport may not be the best option !
